Hoërskool Stellenbosch is trots op 9 personeellede, 4 van hul gades en 2 van die skool se Endurocad atletiekafrigters wat op 16 April die Two Oceans Halfmarathon in Kaapstad voltooi het Die wedloop was taai, maar hierdie span kon almal die wenstreep oorsteek en 'n groot prestasie behaal Baie dankie aan, Roman's Pizza wat ruim bygedra het tot ons fondsinsamelingspogings. Hulle het met ons ooreengekom om geld vir die skool se toerfonds te borg vir elke onderwyser wat die wedloop suksesvol aflê. In a bid to ensure residents and visitors alike are safer, Stellenbosch Municipality launched a short-term safety and security programme, the Safety Monitor Initiative (SMI) Its Protection Services have employed 47 safety monitors that will conduct daily patrols in the CBD areas of both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek "These extra boots on the ground will act as the eyes and ears of law enforcement by reporting incidents immediately, as and when they see them, to the MunicipalControlRoom,"said municipal spokesperson Stuart Grobbelaar "Residents will be able to identify these accredited safety monitors with their yellow reflective vests Plansarealsoalreadyin place to increase the number of safety monitors".
