CAPSULE CONCEPT
RAVE KARL LAGERFELD
SS/24
A capsule collection that captures the ethos of Karl. A man of many facets, dualities and contradictions. He always had his feet planted in the present and his gaze firmly directed towards the future. Inspired by a post pandemic youth culture that seeks to live life to the full and be in the moment, this capsule collection embodies the energy of a rave. The space between opposites disappears as we celebrate the joy of being connected to one another. Dancing to the beat of our own drum, a rhythm that takes us from the present moment to the dawn of brand a new day.
AMPLIFIED HEROES
CALVIN KLEIN JEANS
PSP/2023
Reimagining the iconic campaign of David Simms for CKJ Khakis from the mid 90s with a contemprary outlook.
The capsule collection comprises 2 female looks, 2 mens looks and 2 gender inclusive looks that readapt Calvin Klein’s core values for the modern consumer.
HORTUS BOTANICUS + C&A
“Greenhouse” is a collection made of 2 garments : a shirt and a pair of trousers that each can be worn in 3 different ways. The garments are made from patchwork fabric from deadstock provided by C&A and developed using 3D prototyping software.
Just like botanists we go through life collecting, selecting and preserving.
Inside each of us there’s a greenhouse of precious memories. Meaningful experiences. People we met, places we’ve been. Stories that bring a smile everytime they are recalled.
All contained in a safe space of inner peace which stays warm even when outside the greenhouse a cold winter might be raging by.
CAGE GOLDEN
An exploration of the ambiguities of living in a digital age.
We believe that we have built a better world than that of yesterday. It makes us function at the speed of electricity. We have synthesised a system, a regime that keeps us in control.
Yet the more we take refuge in our screens, the more we alienate ourselves from our environment. We filter and manipulate our image which satisfies our willingness to expose and yet we are mere silhouettes to the present moment. Our landscape has be measured, analysed, calculated and yet we are unable to live in it without our digital fortress.
What happened to us?
Have we become hyperhumans? or subhumans?

COLLECTION HALLMARKS
participation adaptation
Mulitwearability allows for a conversation between the designer and the wearer, engaging the latter to interact, explore and make choices with a garment’s final look.
Neutrality dictates nothing and adapts to anyone. It allows you to be your own special creation.
observation
Let me tell you a story on how I see the world. My creativity and my work is the way I make sense of it all.
preciousness
We should all have long and healthy relationships with our garments,
collab
A print technique was developed in collaboration with artist Ombri Bigetz who uses 3D software and an algorithmic mechanical arm to produce images that are part human and part machine made, underlining the symbiotic relationship that exists between both worlds.
ONE IS MORE
20 17
Our present self is only one of the many versions of ourselves that live within us, just like growth rings in a tree trunk.
This collection is inspired from members of society who disassociate themselves from the conventional classifications of gender and sexuality.
This resulted in a collection of non binary garments, with no gender, no size and no single use. The collection was developed using 3D virtual protoyping.

“Denham Ma” is a sub-brand developed for craft denim brand Denham.
Denham Ma sought to takea a softer and more laid back approach from the mother brand. With a focus on tactility and looser silhouettes, the collection “Tokyo Back Street” explores the mix of old and new, japanese streetwear and reinvented classics.
Two fits were developed using Candiani Denim and washing expertise from Blue Lab.
