Steel Exchange, Inc. was founded and established in 1972 by Joseph S. Remis

aka “Steel Dr.� After serving in the military and graduating from University of Southern California, Joe began his career in steel with General Pipe and Supply and then moving on to Ziegler Steel and proceeded to start his own company.

For over 45 years, Steel Exchange, Inc., has specialized in the distribution of Structural Steel, including Angles, Channels, Flat Bar, Hot Rolled Square and Round Bar, Sheets, Pipe, Plate and Floor Plate, Expanded Metal, including standard and raised, Grating and Wide Flange Beams. We also distribute Aluminum and Copper Products.
