Celebrant: Blessed be God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
3 The Prelude “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” St. Columbia The Processional Anthem “Praise, My Soul, The King of Heaven”
The Welcome The Opening Acclamation
People: And blessed be God’s kingdom, now and forever. Amen. The Collect for Purity Celebrant: Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen. The Gloria in Excelsis Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth. Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen. The Collects of the Day Celebrant: The Lord be with you People: And also with you Celebrant: Let us pray
4 Against you only have I sinned * and done what is evil in your sight.
5 And so you are justified when you speak * and upright in your judgment.
7 For behold, you look for truth deep within me, * and will make me understand wisdom secretly.
8 Purge me from my sin, and I shall be pure; * wash me, and I shall be clean indeed.
6 Indeed, I have been wicked from my birth, * a sinner from my mother's womb.
The LORD said to Moses, "Go down at once! Your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have acted perversely; they have been quick to turn aside from the way that I commanded them; they have cast for themselves an image of a calf, and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, `These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!'" The LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, how stiff necked they are. Now let me alone, so that my wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them; and of you I will make a great nation." But Moses implored the LORD his God, and said, "O LORD, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Why should the Egyptians say, `It was with evil intent that he brought them out to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth'? Turn from your fierce wrath; change your mind and do not bring disaster on your people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, how you swore to them by your own self, saying to them, `I will multiply your descendants like the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have promised I will give to your descendants, and they shall inherit it forever.'" And the LORD changed his mind about the disaster that he planned to bring on his people.
A reading from Exodus 32:7 14
1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving kindness; * in your great compassion blot out my offenses.
4 O God, because without you we are not able to please you, mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Please be seated for the reading of the lessons.
The Psalm of the Day 51:1 11
2 Wash me through and through from my wickedness * and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions, * and my sin is ever before me.
Lector: The Word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God.
"Or what woman having ten silver coins, if she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, `Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.' Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. A reading from 1 Timothy 1:12 17 I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me to his service, even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a man of violence. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and thegraceof ourLordoverflowedfor mewith thefaithandlove thatarein Christ Jesus. The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the foremost. But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display the utmost patience, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. Lector: The Word of the Lord People: Thanks be to God. The Gradual Anthem “Joyful, Joyful” Sister Act
People: Glory to you, Lord Christ
Celebrant: The Holy Gospel according to Luke 15:1-10
10 Hide your face from my sins * and blot out all my iniquities.
All the tax collectors and sinners were coming near to listen to Jesus. And the Pharisees and the scribes were grumbling and saying, "This fellow welcomes sinners and eats with them."
9 Make me hear of joy and gladness, * that the body you have broken may rejoice.
So he told them this parable: "Which one of you, having a hundred sheep and losing one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders and rejoices. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, `Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
11 Create in me a clean heart, O God, * and renew a right spirit within me.

THE BAPTISM
9 Celebrant We thank you, Almighty God, for the gift of water. Over it the Holy Spirit moved in the beginning of creation. Through it you led the children of Israel out of their bondage in Egypt into the land of promise. In it your Son Jesus received the baptism of John and was anointed by the Holy Spirit as the Messiah, the Christ, to lead us, through his death and resurrection, from the bondage of sin into everlasting life. We thank you, Father, for the water of Baptism. In it we are buried with Christ in his death. By it we share in his resurrection. Through it we are reborn by the Holy Spirit. Therefore in joyful obedience to your Son, we bring into his fellowship those who come to him in faith, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. As the water is poured, the Celebrant continues Now sanctify this water, we pray you, by the power of your Holy Spirit, that those who here are cleansed from sin and born again may continue for ever in the risen life of Jesus Christ our Savior. To him, to you, and to the Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen.

The Peace The Announcements
11 of compassion and bands of love, we wandered far away. Yet, as a mother cares for her children, you would not forget us. Time and again you called us to live in the fullness of your love. Then you acted anew in Creation. In order that we might see and know the riches of your grace, your Spirit entered Mary of Nazareth, that she might conceive and bear a Son, the holy child of God. He came among us as one knowing weakness and temptation, yet did not sin. Living among us, Jesus loved us. He yearned to draw all the world to himself, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, yet we would not. We were heedless of his call to walk in love. At last the time came for him to make the sacrifice of himself, and to be glorified by you. On the night before he died, Jesus was at table with his friends. He took bread, gave thanks to you, and gave it to them, saying: "Take, eat: This is my Body, which is given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me." After supper, Jesus took the cup of wine. Again he gave thanks to you, and gave it to them, saying: "Drink this, all of you: This is my Blood of the new Covenant, poured out for you and for all for the forgiveness of sins. Whenever you drink it, do this for the remembrance of me." As we gather to share this bread and the cup, we remember this loving gift to us: Celebrant and People We remember his death on the cross. We proclaim the resurrection to new life. We await the return of Christ in glory. The Celebrant continues And so we join together in the love of Christ to give thanks and praise to you, our God. Here at this table we offer to you all that you have made: this bread, this cup, our time, talents, and treasures, living sacrifices. Pour out your blessing on all we offer here. Breathe your Spirit into these gifts of bread and wine, to make them the Body and Blood of Christ. Let your Spirit who broods over the whole creation dwell within us. Gather us to be your holy people, the Body of Christ given for the world you have made. Draw us, O God, to your heart at the heart of the Throughworld.
Christ and with Christ and in Christ, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory, now and for ever. AMEN. The Celebrant continues And now, as our Savior Christ has taught us, we are bold to say, Celebrant and People:
The Prayer After Communion Holy, gracious, and loving God, you have drawn us to your heart, and nourished us at your table, with holy food and drink, the Body and Blood of Christ. Now send us forth to be your people in the world, and to proclaim your truth, this day and evermore. Amen.
12 Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. The Breaking of The Bread
Celebrant: Alleluia. Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us; People: Therefore let us keep the feast. Alleluia. The Holy Communion Intercessor I now invite those who are with us by way of the internet to join me in offering the prayer for Spiritual Communion.
