St Cuthbert’s Alumni Association

The Alumni Association connects alumni to St Cuthbert’s Society and the University, offering social and professional opportunities to the alumni community.

Firstly congratulations to all those Cuth’s students who have graduated this January. I hope you have all enjoyed your time at Cuth’s and are looking forward to whatever the future holds.

I have now been Chair of the Alumni Association for over a year, and the time has really flown by. In that time, I have personally started my professional career and recently moved out, becoming an ‘actual adult’ making the step from being a recent graduate to looking ahead for the next few years. The Alumni Association has also been busy. In September, we gave back to the

JCR, using money raised over the last few years to purchase a range of sound equipment for their green machine. This equipment can be used for plays and productions as well as other events. Hopefully it will be put to good use over the coming years. This year also sees the celebration of 50 years of Cuth’s women with an event having already taken place down in London this November. I wasn’t able to attend myself, but it sounded very enjoyable based on what I have heard from those who attended. Do keep an eye out for other events in
