Andrew and Douglas are cycling 3,328km in aid of the hospice
Father and son duo, Douglas (75) and Andrew (45) have set themselves a mammoth task cycling 3,328km (the distance of the 2022 Tour de France) in memory of Jean Mulholland. Son of the late Jean, Andrew, said: “Jean was a wife, mum, Gran and a friend to many. She spent her final weeks receiving the best care at St Columba’s Hospice. Our family will be forever grateful to the dedicated and skilled staff who made this time as comfortable and intimate as it could be for her and us.” The pair have exceeded their original fundraising target of £1,000, raising £1,885 already, having ‘only’ cycled 316km! From everyone at the Hospice, we wish you the best of luck completing the rest of your challenge!
