With Gratitude for an Incredible Day of Giving
Dear Friends,
We offer our prayers of thanksgiving for your generosity and the gift of God’s infinite charity freely given. May God continue to bless you with a servant’s heart and a generous spirit.
Our 2025 Day of Giving was an overwhelming success, raising over $228,000 and bringing together the generosity of more than 300 donors. The energy and excitement throughout the day was wonderful as our students, teachers, families, alumni, parishioners, friends, and community came together to celebrate our shared success.
Your incredible generosity makes a profound impact on the daily lives of our students and teachers, enriching their educational experiences and strengthening the values that guide us. Your support ensures that our students grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally, preparing them to build a better world as loving, serving, compassionate, and forgiving people.
With the deepest appreciation and gratitude, Kevin Chick, Principal

Theater Props Needed
Dear St. Columba Community,

We are middle school students in the Theater Design elective. This semester we are working on the spring production of Willy Wonka. We need your help to gather materials! We are looking for:
-pink aluminum cans like Poppi Raspberry Rose, Doc Pop, or Strawberry Lemonade -green plastic bottles like 7 Up and Mountain Dew. These can be any size.

-cogs, springs, and gears. These need to be at least three inches in diameter, but the larger the better. -old climbing ropes in any shade of green. None of these materials will make it back to you, so please don't bring in items that you would want returned. Items can be dropped off at the office. We hope you will come see the show on the 9th and 10th of May!
Thank you for your help!

Prayer & Praise Assembly
All families are invited to join us this Thursday, February 4th, at 8:15 for our Prayer & Praise assembly.
Our assemblies each month include lessons from Fr. John and Mr. Chick, an introduction to our monthly Friendzy theme, and recognition of our St. Columba award winners who have gone above and beyond. This month, we will also be honoring our 4th-8th grade students who made honor roll for the 2nd Quarter.

Used Sneakers Wanted
The 7th grade is still participating in a recycling fundraiser and need your help. We have partnered with Gotsneakers which is an organization that will recycle sneakers as well as pay for sneakers in good condition. Help us raise some money, keep old shoes out of landfills, and clean out your closets. There is a box by the main office to drop your snekers off. All proceeds will go to the building fund.

History Day Judges Needed
While there are few people who would list their career as historians, anyone who has written a research paper can judge a History Day project. There are well defined criteria that we can share that make it pretty straight forward. Would you consider helping out with this event? It will be on Thursday, February 20, from 8:00 until about noon. If you are able to assist, please let the office know.
