All of the proceeds from this event go to the St. Colette Catholic Education Fund which benefits our parishioners who attend Catholic School and those students in our PSCF Program.

General Rules & Instructions Straight Race Wagering Each Race When placing a wager to win, simply go to the window with the number matching the horse number you wish to bet.

Each wager will be $2.00. You will receive one ticket for each $2.00’s you wager. Straight wagering on all races will be to win only. There will be no place or show betting.

Cashiers have the right to refuse to cash any tickets damaged or altered in any way. We cannot be responsible for tickets that are purchased and lost.

Welcome to the Night at the Races!

Thank you for taking the time to join us at our annual event which benefits so many of our children with their Catholic Education. I sincerely hope that you find this an enjoyable and rewarding evening. Many hands, hearts and hours go into making this evening a success. We couldn’t do this without the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of so many volunteers. Thank you to each and every one who helped in so many ways.

This year Bill Gorey led the way in organizing and directing to the last detail. Our dinner has been catered through European’s Best Bakery and Restaurant, good friends to our parish and a wonderful place to eat. Cindy Lee and Steve Sykora, with the help of our Catholic School Parents, assisted in serving the meal and in the preparation that precedes such an event! Sabrina Plumb, our event planner and public relations coordinator, once again tended to the details and this welcoming booklet.

The success of a Night at the Races depends a great deal on the sponsors. Sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the sponsorship of this event, to those who purchased horses, and to each and every one of you for attending what we believe is one of the most fun events on our parish calendar.
