INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS Are you drawn to international cultures and societies? The International Business and Economics program at St. Catherine University is a unique combination of a strong economics core with a breadth of business courses and second language study. This major is excellent preparation for business students who want their résumé to stand out! As a hub of international business and education, Minneapolis-St. Paul offers rich opportunities for internships, and you will also be encouraged to study abroad and immerse in an international society to further build on your learnings and experience. You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge necessary to work for any major corporation that has a global presence.

MARKET ANALYST Work for an international company to evaluate its financial health, industry trends, and other market data in order to predict future performance abroad SALES ANALYST Identify and evaluate industry trends to help increase international sales and revenue for a company INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS SPECIALIST Help countries and international organizations create policies and advance partnership initiatives FOREIGN AFFAIRS OFFICER Promote peace, support prosperity, and protect American citizens while advancing the interests of the U.S. abroad DATA ANALYST Conduct research and evaluate industry data to help your company or organization solve an international business challenge, or to inform future business strategies and goals

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP: We house the Minnesota Center for Diversity in Economics (MCDE) which promotes women and underrepresented students in the educational and career pipeline.
