An educational excursion to NGV introduces us to NGV’s library.

In my limited time in the library, my first thought was to find pieces of information regarding the history of NGV excavating the files and catalogues from 1896.

Genderqueer, also known as non-binary, is a catch-all category for gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine�—‌identities which are outside the gender binary and cisnormativity.

Genderqueer people may express a combination atheir gender expression.

Genderqueer people may identify as either having an overlap of, or indefinite lines between, gender identity; having two or more genders (being bigender, trigender, or pangender); having no gender (being agender, nongendered, genderless, genderfree or neutrois); moving between genders or having a fluctuating gender identity (genderfluid); or being third gender or other gendered, a category which includes those who do not place a name to their gender.

Gender identity is separate from sexual or romantic orientation, and genderqueer people have a variety of sexual orientations, just as transgender and cisgender people do.

My experience was a roller coaster ride.

My best learning experiences came from the morning classes. Other than that, group work was stressful and unsuccessful. It felt like my creativity was dying. I experiened difficulties arising from a sizeable generation gap, which meant I had to find ways to stimulate myself and keep my creativity alive.

Creativity is never dead. We can, and do, imagine new things every day. If I’m starved for inspiration I look at my surroundings and imagine transforming them into something new.

Reading sko’s from others in the Bachelor of Design was interesting but left me questioning whether or not their experiences were completely honest, given that the vast majority of these experiences were positive.
