Q1: To determine if consumers’ behavior varies whether user is international (sending from one country to another) or domestic (sending within the same country)

I am assuming you want to test the association between control variant and International Domestic. If you want to see Conversion Rate, SEE Q2 for method.

Step 1: To add the data into SPSS

Either just copy paste or type.

Step 2: Weight Cases

Use a variable to weight cases. If you are looking at total Sessions, use that as weighting variable. Similarly, for CVR

Step 3: Perform Cross tabulation analysis

Step 4: Check the output (Attached as Q1.) Q2. To determine if consumers’ behavior differs when no fees apply? Does presenting no additional fees increase conversion? Here I am assuming you want to test proportion of converts between Control and Variant. So, you need to convert your data to: Experiment Total sessions CVR Not Cnverts Control 7,574 3,850 3,724 Variant 7,434 3,849 3,585 Step 1: Now put that in SPSS:

Step 2: Weight cases by Number (See Q1)

Step 3: Use Crosstabs from Analysis (Q1) All outputs and files attached.

Q3. To determine if Average Transaction Value (ATV) is negatively impacted when total price is withheld until point of purchase

I do not see ATV in the data file. Feel free to reach out to clarify. I’m assuming file with huge data (1st file) is needed and ATV is same as tran_sale_USD_amount average. In that case, we can do t-test here.

Step 1: Import the data into SPSS. Use Open -> Data

Step 2: Make sure the data is in good format. I suggest saving it in excel (xls) rather than csv for SPSS.

Step 3: Create a variable for class which is numeric. Add the groups in labels if you want. Can use compute variable. Can skip this step but it is better to do it this way. I am using variant as grouping variable.

Step 3: Use T-test from Analyze:

Step 4: Check the output

Q4. To determine whether there are differences in consumer behaviour across geographic markets (e.g. USA to Jamaica, the UK to Ghana and Germany to Germany)? Is price transparency less important to some cultures than others?

Please give more reference to data files. Here, I’m assuming, you want price against dom_int variable Exactly same steps as Q3
