A BIT ABOUT SOFA

ONE —

State of Address (SOFA) is the world’s first blockchain based design and architecture community aiming to democratise architectural designs and decrease the prohibitive costs of entrance to the end consumer. All the while, unlocking immense market potential for architects and designers alike.

SOFA uses non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to turn products of architecture and design into investable assets that are unique, scarce, and transferable. All of which have the potential to be on-sold for longer term.

They are a design focused architecture and interior design studio with an intent on creating meaningful relationships through their work.

They strive to explore connections between solid and void, interior and exterior, and ones affinity to the city in their ongoing pursuit for timeless and uncomplicated design.

Their philosophy dictates that as architects, they have a great responsibility to help shape the future built environment. They believe in the commitment to a level of social and environmental viability on each project.

Cera Stribley is an award winning Australian architectural firm founded

by Dom Cerantonio and Christ Stribley.

Pictured on the right, is Cera Stribley’s award winning ‘Toorak House’. The architecture of this building responds directly to the general typology of houses now found throughout its context and aims to counteract this in a positive way. The sculptural form is designed to direct views inwards and to the northern side of the site while maintaining privacy.

Well-considered design makes enormous impact on people’s overall well-being, and Cera Stribley aim to design buildings intelligently for the future; they look to challenge convention, utilise passive design principals and strategies, collaborate with their clients, inhabitants and builders to craft buildings that are reflective of their local and global context and the philosophy of its users.

RED HILL HOUSE

THREE —

Being the first, SOFA architectural design collaboration, we wanted to create a residential housing typology that was intentionally minimal and restrained to appeal to a wide audience, allowing it to be easily applied to many environments and locations around the world.

This house design has been aptly named after a little wine region, Red Hill, located on Victoria’s Mornington Peninunsla. Famed for its award winning vineyards, dramatic surf beaches and beautiful sandy bay beaches, Red Hill provides the ideal backdrop for a home that embodies a dreamy country-side escape.
