Darren Pannier

Darren Pannier begins his 22nd year at SFCC. He is the Athletic director, Physical Education program coordinator and Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center director.

Pannier has been instrumental in adding sports during his tenure - women’s soccer, softball, restart of men’s soccer and baseball, and co-ed golf. New this season are men and women’s cross country, track and field, clay target shooting, and eports.

Pannier is active on the regional and national levels in the National Junior College Athletic Association. He received the George E. Killian Award of Excellence from the NJCAA’s National Office Staff in 2017 for dedication to the organization’s ideals of volunteerism, achievement, service, leadership, and excellence.

For five years, Pannier was head basketball coach of the Lady Roadrunners and coached many All-American student-athletes. His teams ranked in the NJCAA polls for four seasons. For seven years he was assistant coach for the Lady Roadrunners.

Pannier is active in the Sedalia community serving on the West Central Missouri Boys and Girls Club board, Sedalia Country Club board, and Sedalia School District Foundation committees. Annually, he presents the Darla Pannier Most Valuable Player award for the women’s contest at the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game. Pannier holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Central Methodist College and a master’s degree in Education Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management from the University of MissouriColumbia. He and his wife Sara have a son Brice and a daughter Kiser.

Kirstin Arnold

Kirstin Arnold is in her fourth year as the Athletic Trainer at State Fair Community College. She is responsible for injury evaluations, treatment, and rehabilitation for all the student-athletes at SFCC. Arnold is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Arnold is CPR certified by the American Heart Association. She is certified in Kinesiotaping and has training in Psychological First Aid. She has completed a dry needling certification. Arnold also has a Graston Technique certification. While an undergraduate student at Culver-Stockton College, Arnold totaled over 900 hours of experience as an athletic training student. She gained clinical experience and performed treatment and rehabilitation, while working with football, baseball, women’s soccer, women and men’s basketball, and men’s volleyball. She also worked in clinics and with high school athletes. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Missouri Athletic Trainers Association. Arnold completed her bachelor’s in Athletic Training with a minor in Health from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri in May 2018. She currently resides in Sedalia.

David Rohrbach

David Rohrbach has been an SFCC Athletics staff member for 12 years. He assists with athletics media relations, writes game stories and website content and has had articles published on the National Junior College Athletic Association website.

Rohrbach oversees compiling SFCC’s statistics and regularly assists with livestream broadcast play-byplay for Lady Roadrunners basketball and color commentary for Roadrunners basketball home games.

Rohrbach came to SFCC after completing his undergraduate studies in journalism and political science and graduate studies in physical education, exercise and sport science at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg. He worked almost three years as a student assistant in UCM’s Media Relations and assisted in game day operations for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. He wrote season previews and editorials for media guides and updated statistics and records. Rohrbach volunteered three seasons for the UCM Jennies Soccer team and assisted with keeping shot charts and tracking other statistical information.

Rohrbach graduated from Green Ridge High School in 2001 and resides in Green Ridge.

Kathy Rumsey

Kathy Rumsey is in her second year as the Administrative Assistant for the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center and the SFCC Athletic Department. She assists with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the multipurpose center and athletic department. Rumsey is in her 19th year working at SFCC. She started her career in the Student Services Office and later moved to the Admissions Office. She enjoys watching her kids play sports and show livestock during her free time. She and her husband Kyle reside in Smithton, Missouri and are the parents of Meredith, Harley, Carter, and Maverick. They also have one grandchild Peyton.
