Blake Kingsley, Jr.

is in his first season as the Assistant Coach for the Roadrunners basketball program. He brings a variety of experience to his position. Kingsley comes to Sedalia after serving as the Head Coach at Olympus Prep in New Jersey, where he was able to help more than five players earn full scholarships during his one season. Kingsley also served as an Assistant Coach for the Scotland Campus graduate program in Pennsylvania from August 2017 to March 2020. He worked under Head Coach Chris Chaney and helped more than 35 studentathletes reach the Division I level during his time at Scotland. He helped his team to a 2019 National Prep Championship runner-up finish. He was the Head Coach at Scotland Campus High School from August 2017 to 2019. Kingsley led his team to the 2019 USA Prep National Championship. He also helped more than four players earn opportunities at the Division I level. From July 2018 to 2020 Kingsley served as the Head Coach for the Global Squad AAU program. He was also the Director of Player Development and international recruiter. He served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Lake Oswego High School in Oregon from 2016 to 2017 under Head Coach Marshall Cho. He was responsible for all varsity scouting reports and led player development sessions. Kingsley worked for Head Coach Kelly Graves at the University of Oregon for the women’s basketball program from 2013 to 2016. He developed advanced scouting reports to aid assistant coaches’ game plans, as well as filmed practices and games. He also supervised player development drills. In 2015, he served as an assistant video coordinator for the Washington Mystics in Washington D.C., while working for Head Coach Mike Thibault. At that time, Kingsley also worked for the Washington Wizards. He organized scout film sessions and assisted with on court activities. Kingsley earned a bachelor of science degree in General Social Science-Applied Economics from the University of Oregon in 2016.
