Our mission is to care for our area’s homeless animals, to re-home as many as possible, and to improve animal welfare throughout our community. As an open-admission shelter, we accept all cats and dogs in need. We are an independent 502c3 organization, and we are contracted by the City of Frankfort and the Franklin County Fiscal Court for animal control services. We offer low-cost spay and neuter services to the public, as well as micro-chipping and city licensing. We work to educate the public about animal welfare and frequently hold community events, such as portable adoptions and fundraisers.
