Having spent his childhood regularly visiting Atlantic Beach with his family, he has long been cultivating a love and appreciation for the Crystal Coast. This affinity for Fisherman’s Paradise finally hooked the House family as they relocated to Atlantic Beach fifteen years ago. There is no question that from the “highrises” of Down East, to Front Street of Beaufort, to Radio Island in Morehead City, to Highway 58 from Atlantic Beach to Emerald Isle, this is home for Michael.

Carteret County is particularly special to Michael because it is here where he fostered his love for teaching at West Carteret High School, something that continues to steer his life far beyond the classroom and into his career in real estate. Following ten memorable years as a high school educator in Morehead City, Cary, and Apex, he returns home where his heart has always remained, where his family resides, and where he reunites with his foundation of educating, advising, and encouraging people.
