Rio Grande City High School Wrestler Aiden Valdovinos made history by placing 2nd at the Texas Freestyle State Championships, officially qualifying to represent Team Texas this summer at the US Junior Nationals in Fargo!

Aiden becomes the first Rio Grande City High School male wrestler to earn this honor and the first RGC wrestler overall to qualify since Jennifer Garza in 2009.

Congratulations to Aiden, his family, Coach Alouette Gonzalez, and everyone who has supported his journey.
