Roma High School Art Instructor Gaby Gonzalez has been selected as one of only 13 artists for a national juried art exhibition at the Manhattan Graphics Center in New York City, New York taking place on Oct. 22, 2016. She was selected because of the high caliber of her master’s work at The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. “I am privileged to exhibit with these artists who have a full trajectory of exhibitions at the national and international level, and some of the artists selected alongside me have been published in well-known magazines such as ‘The New York Times’,” said Gonzalez. “I am grateful to represent the state of Texas as one of the only Hispanic females in this show; it is really such an honor.” GONZALEZ, page 2
