June Events A Campdrafting Clinic with Billy Yoder Horsemanship will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28 at K Bar R Arena, five miles west of Medford on Hwy 64. New Hope Presbyterian Church in Hannibal will host its Strawberry Festival on Sunday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be limited seating in the hall. Carryouts will be available. July Events Rib Lake will hold a Fireworks Display on Friday, July 3 over the lake, beginning at dusk. The rain date will be Saturday, July 4. P-Town Saloon & Grill in Perkinstown will hold Buck Fest with a live band and fireworks on Friday, July 3. Medford will hold a Fireworks Display on Friday, July 3 over the Millpond, beginning at dusk. The Jump River Lions Club will sponsor a Fourth of July Celebration and Parade beginning at 11 a.m. on July 4 at Jump River Community Park. Activities include a tractor pull at noon, horseshoe tournament, kid’s pedal tractor pull, games, face painting, a bounce house, ice cream stand, food and refreshments, music in the evening at 6 p.m., and fireworks at 10 p.m. The public is invited to attend at their own discretion and to physically distance themselves in the park as they are comfortable.

Perkinstown’s Fourth of July Celebration and Parade will be held on Saturday, July 4. There will be food and refreshments, games, raffles, and a parade. MEC’s Great Northern Side-by-Side Classic will be held Friday through Sunday, July 10-12 at the MRC Sportsman’s Club located eight miles north of Medford on Hwy 13. The side-by-side shotgun shoot is limited to 120 participants. Register online at mrcsportsmansclub.com/great-northern-side-byside-classic/registration/. The banquet scheduled for Saturday night has been cancelled. .28 Special will perform an outdoor concert on Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m. at Historic St. Ann’s, W3963 Brehm Ave. in the town of Greenwood. Bring your own lawn chair. An outdoor luncheon will be served. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be cancelled. Horns and Hooves Challenge will be held Saturday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at K Bar R Arena, five miles west of Medford on Hwy 64. Event includes CBRA bull riding and open 3D barrel race. A Tack Sale will be held at 11:30 a.m. A Horse Auction will be held at 1 p.m. Kids Nickel Scramble at 6:30 p.m. Bump It Up For Easter Seals Volleyball Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 18 beginning at 8 a.m. at Cindy’s Bar & Grill, five miles west of Medford on Hwy 64. From July 18-26, Novena to St. Ann and Rosary will be held daily at 7:30 p.m. at Historic St. Ann’s, W3963 Brehm Ave. in the town of Greenwood. Attendance will be limited to 25 people. The Barely Legal Customs Car Club will host Rumblefest Classic Car Show Friday through Sunday, July 24-26 in Medford City Park. Friday night’s activities include a free drive-in movie before 9 p.m. Saturday activities include food, refreshments and music. Fun Run (drive) at 1 p.m. with awards ceremony at 7 p.m. On Sunday, car show registration begins at 8 a.m. The Feast of St. Ann will be celebrated with a prayer service and luncheon on July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Historic St. Ann’s, W3963 Brehm Ave. in the town of Greenwood. Attendance will be limited to 25 people. August Events Chequamegon Wildlife and Recreation Club hosts a Senior Citizen Fishing Day on the first Saturday in August (Aug. 1) at the Perkinstown Pavilion by the Kathryn Lake boat launch. The Wisconsin High School Regional Rodeo will be held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8-9 at at K Bar R Arena, five miles west of Medford on Hwy 64.
