pair has extensive experience in converting magnificent old buildings for hospitality purposes, such as a 300-year-old mill near Cologne in north-west Germany. They transformed the medieval building with its three internal levels, and featuring a water wheel, into a restaurant and their home for eight years.

Glendower also has living quarters featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen and living space. But the showpiece of the three-acre property is the brilliance of the restaurant itself.
