FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which reciprocal clubs can I play at when our course is closed?
Starmount Forest Country Club’s management and professional staff have made formal arrangements with 22 area clubs (23 courses). The participating list of clubs is listed on the next page. Please keep in mind that additional play opportunities may exist with our reciprocal clubs as a limited professional courtesy before the official start date of the formal arrangement.
What are the costs associated with playing at the reciprocal courses?
The charges associated with playing reciprocal courses will vary with each facility. This guide will list an overview of the arrangements to accommodate Members from January-September 2025.
How will the charges be handled?
Starmount Forest Country Club is making arrangements with each reciprocal club to enable each Starmount Member to pay with a credit card or charge back to your member account. I want to let you know that each reciprocal club will need every member to check in with the golf shop and give their member number. This practice applies to Golf Shop charges and food and beverage purchases.
How will I request starting times at another club?
To request a tee time, members should use the reciprocal tee time request form found on the Starmount App/Website. It is imperative that Starmount Members do not contact the reciprocal clubs directly. We have been informed that the reciprocal clubs will not honor or accept any such requests.
Will I be able to take guests to these courses?
Members will be allowed to take guests to most of the reciprocal courses. The fees for guests and the times specifically allocated for play may vary from course to course.
Will tee times be restricted?
Each club will have specific restrictions depending on the time of the year, the day of the week, and the play volume.
Where should I direct questions about the reciprocal golf arrangements?
Any questions should be directed to the Starmount Forest Country Club Golf Shop at (336)299-0427.
Will I be able to purchase food, beverages, and golf shop merchandise at the reciprocal clubs?
Arrangements will be made at all the clubs so Starmount Members may purchase items in the golf shops and food and beverages while playing golf.
