General Manager/Chief
Dear Fellow Starmount Members,
President’s Note
It has been a privilege to serve as President of Starmount Forest Country Club during 2024. This year began with anticipation as we moved forward with planned capital improvement projects. At the year’s end, we are poised to begin construction of Pickleball courts, start utilizing the golf simulators, and we’ll soon see dirt being moved during the golf course renovation.
Looking forward to 2025, I am confident in the continued success of SFCC for the following reasons: Our Board of Directors is committed to implementing the Club’s 5-year strategic plan There is a detailed plan in place to assure that we can maintain exceptional member services, while managing curtailed revenues due to the golf course shutdown.
In-coming President John Barbee is an experienced leader with the ability to communicate effectively with members of Starmount.
General Manager, Ray Armini, and our professional staff are dedicated to providing a high-quality club environment, and prudently managing Club finances. We are in a solid financial position.
Thanks to Aprille, Ashley, Brad, Caitlin, Candice, Jean, John, Matt, Michael, Scott F, and Scott H. I enjoyed our monthly Board meetings. Your advice and input have been valued.
To Ray, Tonia, Emily and Jaime, I greatly appreciate your dedication to the success of Starmount.
A shout-out to staff that make Starmount a special place for me: David, Claude, Heidi, Julie, Erin, John, Chris, Erika, Brian, Keith, Teia, Brooks, Ross, Chase, SAVIO.
Members, invite someone to a Friday dinner or social event Starmount is a special place and our future is bright!
See you at the club.
Greg Brown Club President
