Today’s Lay Leader, Charles Dameron; Offertory Prayer, Tommy Wells; Greeters, Becky Nance & Susan Franklin; Open & Close, Jeff & Susan Franklin. Last Sunday’s vote on the 2023 Church Budget passed, 44 yes and 2 no. The Church office will be closed on Monday, December 26. Morning and evening Bible Study is cancelled for Tuesday, December 27. Contribution Envelopes for 2023 are available for pick-up in the church vestibule. If you need them mailed to you, please call the church office at (276) 638-8861 or email church@starlingavenue.org. If you gave one of the poinsettias that are displayed in memory or honor of a loved one, please take it home today following worship service to enjoy in your home during Christmas. On January 1, 2023, there will be a covered dish after worship service to thank Dr. Joe and Mary Bryant for being with us during our time of transition. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. Food Services will provide the beverage and dessert. Beginning in January: Bible Study will be on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Deacons Meeting will be the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
