If this is your first time visiting with us, we sincerely hope that you find meaningful worship and a loving community here. There are guest cards in the pew racks if you’d like to let us know more about yourself. Drop these into the basket in the back of the sanctuary. We’re happy to welcome you as our guest today! Today’s Lay Leader, Dwight Stultz; Offertory Prayer, Margaret Caldwell; Hymn Leader, Pat McKinster; Greeters, Donna Wells & Linda Pulliam; Open & Close, Tommy Wells. Please join us for Bible Study on August 9 at 10:30 am or 6:00 pm in Room 202 as we watch the second half of the true story of Robert Sheffey. Sheffey was an American Methodist evangelist and circuit-riding preacher, renowned for his eccentricities and power in prayer, who ministered to and became a part of the folklore of the Appalachian region of southwest Virginia, southern West Virginia and eastern Tennessee. God’s Pit Crew is currently responding to the devastating floods in Whitesburg, KY. They will be sending mixed loads of Gatorade, blessing buckets and cleaning supplies that will be distributed to flood victims. SABC will be collecting donations for the next two Sundays to help with this effort. Donation boxes are located at both entrances to the church. The choir is in need of additional singers. If anyone would like to join and would like extra help in learning the music, please contact Pat McKinster at 276-806-4170.
