Each week we will be hi-lighting different committees, councils, and teams to help you decide how you can use your gifts & passions at SABC. SERVE-BE-the-Church forms are located at both entrances of the church.

CHURCH HISTORY COMMITTEE – The Church History Committee is responsible for keeping an archive of the church’s past and recording its current activities so that the church can understand and be enriched by its heritage. The committee consists of the church clerk and at-large members elected for three-year rotating terms.

ADULT MINISTRY TEAM – Everyone is welcomed to participate in the planned activities of Adult Fellowship. Activities include periodic short trips for lunch at places of interest, and an annual Christmas party which features games and fellowship.

This month’s Community Meal will be this Tuesday, June 28. Menu includes BBQ chicken, Cole slaw, baked beans, and brownies.

Due to multiple illnesses and planned trips, the choir has decided to cancel Tuesday evening rehearsals from June 28 until September 6. The choir will sing through the summer meeting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. There will be a choir retreat to learn music for fall, Advent and Christmas. The date will be announced later.

The choir is in need of additional singers. If anyone would like to join and would like extra help in learning our music, please contact Pat McKinster at 276-806-4170.
