This week we gathering to celebrate the birth of Christ at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion on Friday, December 24, at 5:30 p.m. A Business Meeting will be held following today’s 11:00 a.m. Worship Service to vote on the 2022 Budget and the Nominating Committee slate. Contribution Envelopes for 2022 are available for pick-up in the church vestibule. The Personnel Committee is ready to move to forming a Search Committee now that it has secured an interim pastor. This requires dedicated people who can follow God’s will in selecting the next minister to lead this church into the future. You are asked to submit names for this committee by December 22. The Personnel Committee would like to give you some points to consider in your selection. Will this person: • Have the best interests of the church and God’s will first and foremost? • Have the time available that is needed for work on this process? • Have basic computer skills for communicating with the candidate and documenting research? • Have good communication skills? • Be open minded? • Share their thoughts, opinions and insights? • Be a good listener? • Be able to be diplomatic and able to keep confidentialities?
