Sunday, December 5 11:00 a.m.—Sanctuary & Virtual Worship Wednesday, December 8 Bible Study cancelled until January 2022 Welcome Rev. Bonnylee Witt as our guest minister. Margaret Caldwell will serve as today’s Lay Leader. Pianist is Fern Kanode. Advent Candle/Chrismon will be Shirley Stegall & Susan Franklin. Greeters are Donna Wells & Margaret Caldwell. Open & Close is David Bell. Rev. Bonnylee Witt received her BA in Religion from Averett University in 1992. She was ordained to the ministry by Starling Avenue Baptist Church in 1995. In response to her call to the hospital chaplaincy, Bonnylee completed her internship at CPE New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, in 1996. She completed her Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond in 1996. She has worked as the Director of the Mental Health Association in Martinsville; Staff Chaplain at Norfolk General Hospital in Richmond; Director of Church and Community Ministries for Henry County Baptist Association and as Director of Pastoral Care at SOVAH Health in Martinsville. Poinsettias have been placed in the sanctuary by Becky Nance in memory of Jack & Hazel Turner & Alice Ann Turner Dillon; Randy Robertson in memory of Dotty Robertson, Nancy Ellis & Ralph Hooker; Patsy Roach in memory of Moss Roach; Butch & Dee Smith in memory of Bob & Louise Shuford; Donna & Tommy Wells in memory of Raye & Thomas Wells; Kathy Long in memory of Gerry Robinson, David Adkins, Harry Dalton & Barry Dorsey; Dwight & Anne Stultz in honor of our SABC family and Linda Pulliam in honor of Dr. Joe Bryant & Mary, & members we have lost this past year. Bible Study has been cancelled for December. It will resume in January 2022. The ladies of the church are invited to a virtual Christmas Tea party. Bags of goodies and a tea bag will be available for pickup or delivery. (The date will be given later.) Please RSVP to the church office at 276-632-8861. Please indicate if you wish to have your goodies delivered. Through your generous giving to the Annual Mission Offering, the church helped fund ministries of partners here in Martinsville and around the world. Last year’s goal of $6,000 was exceeded. This year the goal is $6,000, with the hope that it will also be
