About The Cast & Crew Amanda Bernstein (Player) lives in Modi’in, is married to Aryeh and has recently finished Masters studies in Communications, Culture and Film at the Hebrew University. She is thrilled to be taking part in another wonderful Starcatcher production. Past performances include “Avenue Q”, “Pride and Prejudice”, “Merrily We Roll Along”, “Second Star to the Left”, “Rent”, “Hairspray”, “Oliver!” and “Guys and Dolls”. Sandy Cash (Bertha) is a performing songwriter who, after making Aliya, sang professionally in the chorus of the Israeli Opera and at the Cameri Theater (“Les Miserables”). Now a science writer for the Weizmann Institute, Sandy’s community theater roles include Anna in “The King and I”, Diana in “Next to Normal”, the Mother Superior in “Sound of Music”, and most recently, Katisha in “The Mikado”. Dena Buckman Davies (Player) has previously been on stage in “Peter Pan”, “Hairspray”, “Second Star To The Left”, “Count The Stars”, “Singing in the Rain”, “Second Labor Live Monologues” and most recently “Cinderella”. In the daytime she is a fashion designer working in a bridal studio. Dena very much enjoyed being part of another Starcatcher production. Jeff Fantl (Pippin) is excited to make his return to the stage since

his last performance in high school (“Little Shop of Horrors”) 13 years ago! Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jeff currently resides in Efrat with his wife, Devra, and 3 little boys, and works as an electro-optics engineer in Rehovot. Many thanks to Devra for holding down the fort throughout this entire production! Danny Freedman (Player, Production Manager) Although Danny had been in the creative and backstage teams of recent shows (choreographing and designing sets) this is his first time on stage in six years. Roles from way back in the past include A-rab (West Side Story), Doody (Grease), Malcolm (13), Kurt (Sound of Music) and Curly (Peter Pan). He'd like to say thank you to the whole team for taking him in straight from his travels in Central America. Dale David Boccaccio Honor (King Charlemagne) of Jerusalem and Denver is a writer, editor, PR coordinator and event planner. Dale David has performed dozens of roles on stage including: “West Side Story” (Bernardo), “The Pirates of Penzance” (The Pirate King), “Rent” (Paul, Mr. Jefferson, Seasons of Love soloist), “Barefoot in the Park” (Victor Velasco), “Arsenic the Musical”! (Jonathan Brewster), 1776 (Judge James Wilson), “The Miracle Worker” (Captain Arthur Keller), “Merrily We Roll Along” (Tyler), “The Producers” (Roger

DeBris), “Divine Right” (Schlomo), “Singin’ in the Rain” (Rod). Elinor Kaufman (Player) is a veteran in the Jerusalem Community theater world. She has acted in many productions including “Avenue Q” (Christmas Eve), “Grease” (Jan), “Little Shop of Horrors” (Crystal), and “Blood Brothers” (Linda). She has also been on the directorial team of “West Side Story” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, and produced “Rent” and “Singin’ in the Rain”. In real life Elinor is a mom of 2 and plans trips to Israel in her role as program coordinator for Ramah Israel. She is very excited to have the opportunity to create magic with the Pippin cast. Daniel Lewin (Player) is delighted to be part of his 3rd Starcatcher production and is excited that Pippin gets to be this really fun and amazing temporary last show before he fly's back to South Africa for a couple months to finish his Aliyah process. Daniel studied Drama for 2 years at Oakfields College and is interested in a degree in Psychology. Theatre credits include “Grease” (Doody/Teen Angel), several college productions, “Spring Awakening” (Georg), “Singin' in the Rain” (Villian/ensemble), and most recently “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown” (Title Role). Daniel has also featured in a couple local movies and short films. Nuria Levy (Player, Dance Captain) is so excited to be part of Starcatcher’s "Pippin" after performing in last

year’s “Singin’ in the Rain”. She previously appeared in "Second Star to the Left" (Ariel), "Aida" (ensemble), and "Oliver!" (ensemble). In her spare time she is getting her masters in English Literature and works as an English teacher, a translator, and a tour guide at Yad Vashem. Richie Mann (Lewis) holds an MA in political science and has worked in media relations and marketing for numerous Jewish and Israeli organizations. Previous theatre credits include “Singin’ in the Rain” (Policeman/Butler), “Spring Awakening” (Otto), “RENT “(Mr. Jefferson/Pastor), “A Chorus Line” (Don Kerr), “Little Shop of Horrors” (additional roles and puppeteer) and “Hairspray” (Fender). While a little less self-absorbed than his character (though not by much), he enjoys slaying Frisians and Visigoths and lifting half the cast. Love to my Mom (and to all other family and friends). Netanya Mischel (Player) has been involved in Jerusalem’s community theater for a while now, and has loved every minute of it. You may have seen her as Lindsay Lohan in “Avenue Q”, Liesl in “The Sound of Music”, Ronnette in “Little Shop of Horrors”, Dodger in “Oliver!” and more, as well as her directorial debut “Second Star to the Left”. When she isn't performing, Netanya is a social worker in Jerusalem. Anaelle Rashba (Theo) is excited to be appearing onstage for the first time. A grade 4 student at Yehuda Halevy school, Anaelle is in the

choir at her school and also studies drama and cyber security. In the past she took classes in gymnastics and fencing. With 4 older sisters, Anaelle is used to being the youngest on a team and is finding it very cool to be in the cast of Pippin! Margo Hughes-Robinson (Catherine) is a visiting student at the Schocken and Schechter Institutes in Jerusalem, studying for semicha at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Margo graduated from Clark University in 2015 with degrees in Jewish Studies and Theatre. Favorite past shows include “Urinetown” (Pennywise), “La Negrita” (Mo’nica Vane), “Assassins” (Sarah Jane Moore), and “Legally Blonde” (Enid Hoopes/ Producer). Margo is thrilled to be making her Jerusalem debut as part of the Starcatcher family, and is grateful to her husband David for all of his love and patience with late-night rehearsals Rachel Sofaer (Choreographer/ Player) is delighted to transport you into the magical world of Pippin! Originally from California, she made aliyah and has lived here for the past 4 years. She previously choreographed “Cabaret” at UC Santa Barbara, her alma mater. Being a bit of a theatre fanatic, she’s participated in Starcatcher’s productions of “A Chorus Line” (Val), “RENT” (Mimi), “Spring Awakening” (Martha) and “Singin in the Rain” (Tap Choreographer/ Dancer), along with other community productions in Jerusalem.

Mira Sykes (Fastrada) is a veteran of the community theater stage in Jerusalem. She has previously appeared in “Spring Awakening” (Mariana) “Merrily…” (Meg) and “Singin’ in the Rain” (Zelda). She is especially excited to be sharing the stage with her mom and her sister for the first time. Even though she is a lead this time around, she wants everybody to know that she is just an ordinary girl, just like all you other ordinary girls out there. Amalya Sykes (Player) This is Amalya’s first production of Pippin... in English. She first performed it in Hebrew at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. She also performed in “Fiddler on the Roof”, and as a Baby in “Free to Be You and Me”. She studied aerial arts (hoop, silks, trapeze and flying trapeze) in Chicago and Jerusalem, and is happy to put them to good use in Pippin. Rebecca Sykes (Leading Player) When Rebecca is not upside-down, she’s looking for reasons to do so anyway. So this role is no exception. She was happily a part of “Spring Awakening” and “Singin' in the Rain” with Starcatcher. Rebecca also performed in “Guys and Dolls” (Adelaide), “The Sound of Music” (Baroness), “Man of La Mancha” (Aldonza), “Wizard of Oz” (Glinda) and “Company” (Joanne). And even the hope of playing Mama Rose on stage someday is not as good as getting on stage with her actual daughters.

Omer Yavin (Player) is thrilled to be a part of this magical show and has been having the time of her life rehearsing dangerous balancing acts and magnificent choreography. She previously appeared in “Singin’ in the Rain” (ensemble) and in “RENT” (ensemble). Omer has been dancing since childhood and currently teaches acrobablance lessons for adults. She is 27 years old and a member of the Dror Israel movement. She lives in a commune with her friends who all work in informal education. Gadi Zaig (Player) is 19 years old originally from New Jersey. He’s previously acted in many shows with Encore! Education Theater Company. When Gadi isn’t acting, he’s a musician. He is a recent graduate of the Jerusalem Arts School where he studied voice and Jazz music. He is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and also writes his own music. He is currently doing Sherut Leumi (National Service) as an assistant high school English teacher and plans to go to university soon.

Production Team Yaeli Greenblatt (Director, Choreographer) is a dancer, performer, and teacher, trained at the Vertigo workshop. Previous theatre experience: With Starcatcher Director-Choreographer for “Singin' in the Rain”, “Spring Awakening”, “Rent”, “A Chorus Line”. Choreographer for “Little Shop of Horrors” (Jest & Starcatcher), “Grease” (Center Stage), “West

Side Story”, “Hairspray” (Encore!), “Spelling Bee” (Jtown). Original musicals by Danny Paller “Ah Jerusalem!”, “Danger”, “November”. She is currently working towards a PhD in English Literature at the Hebrew University. She is honoured to take part in Pippin’s magic with this amazing cast. Jeff Rosenschein (Musical Director) is delighted to be working with this talented cast and crew on "Pippin". This is Jeff's twelfth show as pianist/ conductor and/or musical director, prior shows having been the Israeli premieres of "Rent" (in 2009) and "13", "Grease", "West Side Story", "The Last Five Years", "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee", "Hairspray", "Little Shop of Horrors", "A Chorus Line", "Rent" (2015), and "Spring Awakening". He sang for 3 years in the Zamir Chorale of Boston, was "Rosh Musica" for 6 summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos, and sang in the chorus of 5 "Encore!" Gilbert and Sullivan shows (and "Carousel") in Jerusalem. Jeff is a Professor of Computer Science at Hebrew University, and has co-founded two Jerusalem-based software companies. He is married to Shira, father to Chana, Moshe, Yair, Margalit, and Elianna, and grandfather to Michael and Sammy. Eli Kaplan-Wildmann (Designer) is a director, designer and creator of theatrical content. As a director he has directed, along with the Starcatcher team, the shows “Hairspray,” “Little Shop Of Horrors,” “Rent” and “Singin’ In

The Rain.” As a designer, Eli has worked with Jerusalem’s Psik Theater, The Jerusalem Opera, The Light Festival, and in New York at off-Broadway’s Minetta Lane Theater and at the New York Theater Workshop. He designed "Unbound: The Recreated Haggadah," and is writing a musical called "Sacrifices" about his favorite city - Jerusalem. Elianna Rosenschein (Stage Manager) is taking a break from her theater hiatus in order to work on “Pippin.” She previously stage managed “RENT,” “A Chorus Line,” “Hairspray,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “West Side Story,” “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and more. Abigail Ellis (props) is a newcomer to Starcatcher. When not at Pippin rehearsals, she also worked on “Assassins” for J-Town Playhouse. Also an actor, she recently played Lucentio in “The Taming of the Shrew” last summer with Theater in the Rough. Abbey works at Hometalk and enjoys baking and DIY projects. Rachel Jacobson (Props Crafting) misses the stage but is happy to be a part of "Pippin" by continuing her streak in the prop studio. She finds human-eating plants from outer space strangely lacking in this production, but is honored to have designed The Book Of Pippin. Rachel spends her days in the R&D department of the Education Ministry, even as she finally fulfilled her dream of modeling Kate Monster, Princeton & the Bears for AACI's

"Avenue Q." She sends love and support to the entire cast, crew & production staff, and thanks to our fantastic audience members for coming to see the magic unfold.
