Residents are automatically signed up for a monthly payment plan that can be paid in-full at anytime. There is a $25 installment fee per semester.

The Application & Activities fee consists of a $40 non-refundable application processing fee and a $75 housing activities fee. This fee is automatically added to your first Housing payment, therefore no payment is due upfront. If a student cancels their housing application after completing an application, they are still responsible for paying the $40 application fee.

Students should review their application to make sure all boxes are filled or checked as indicated. Housing staff manually processes all applications, therefore it can take 2-4 business days for an application to be changed to “Complete” status.

The purpose of Second Year Experience is to connect second year residents and showcase additional campus resources, building upon their first-year foundation.

As part of this community, students will live with and nearby fellow second year residents.

The Elevate community provides firstgeneration college students a high level of support from Stan State faculty and Housing staff to help students create a success plan and roadmap for their time at Stan State

Residents of this community will be enrolled in an English course and a First Year Experience MDIS course.

Residents of this community will focus on career-readiness and learning how to achieve their post-graduation goals.

This community is designed for firstgeneration college students, but any second year is encouraged to join. Members of this community are also supported by a faculty mentor.

SSOCIALJUSTICE OCIALJUSTICE

This community provides a space for students interested in Ethnic Studies, Sociology, Criminal Justice, and who value diversity, identity, and empowerment.

Residents of this community will be enrolled in two Ethnic Studies courses that will satisfy a GE requirement.

HHONORS ONORS

Live with other students who are active members of the University Honors Program or who strive to achieve academic success during their time at Stan State.

Honors residents will take select courses and have mentors through the University Honors Program.

Residents of this community have transferred to Stan State from another college

Build connections while learning about campus resources, university platforms, navigating campus, and seamlessly transitioning to life at Stan State.

This special interest community is designed for international students or students interested in learning about other cultures and potentially studying abroad in the future.
