Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity

Jewish Studies

Native American Studies

Each of our academic areas provides analytical tools for understanding how racial and ethnic categories form, why they matter, and how they are represented and reimagined.

CCSRE students learn that multiple lenses are needed to understand the complex dynamics of racism, identity, power, and knowledge.

Our majors and minors explore mechanisms for dismantling hierarchies and mobilizing knowledge in the creation of a more just and equitable world.
