Our signature two-week on-campus program offers a comprehensive introduction to clinical medicine, science, and technology. Stanford faculty guide you through a rich curriculum with hands-on experiences, interactive simulations, and a realworld capstone project.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH
At SASI, we believe in personalizing your journey into medicine. Whether you’re drawn to one program or inspired to combine experiences, we offer flexible pathways to match your aspirations. Through our unique dual enrollment option, participants can seamlessly transition from the comprehensive two-week Foundations program to the intensive Clinical Skills experience, or combine Virtual learning with on-campus programs like our Clinical Skills internship. With a single application, you can access any of these transformative experiences, tailoring your SASI journey to align with your medical ambitions.

Financial Assistance and Housing Information • Eligibility: Financial assistance is available only during the Regular Decision cycle for U.S. citizens and during Regular Decision I for international applicants. Assistance applies to the Foundations and Virtual programs only and excludes housing, travel, or transportation expenses. • Housing Note: Minors not using on-campus housing must be accompanied by a parent/guardian off-campus for the program’s duration. • Optional Parent Luncheon: A $80-per-person Parent Luncheon for the Foundations program will be held on June 27, 2025 (limit two tickets per family). This fee is not included in tuition.

Experience Stanford Medicine from the heart of campus. Our residential program offers more than just housing - it creates an immersive community where learning extends beyond classroom hours.
Participants reside in Stanford’s undergraduate dormitories, sharing the experience with peers equally passionate about medicine. Each evening brings opportunities for connection through guided activities, study groups, and social events led by our Residential Counselors.

PIZZA-MAKING AT STANFORD FARM
Journey through Stanford’s historic educational farm where sustainable agriculture meets culinary creativity. From harvesting fresh ingredients to crafting artisanal pizzas, discover the art of farm-to-table cooking alongside fellow SASI participants while enjoying the natural beauty of this working farm.

Exclusive to SASI residential students. Included in activity fee. Saturday during program | Approx. 4 hours.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL AT STANFORD MEDICINE
Gather on the historic grounds of Stanford School of Medicine for a cherished SASI tradition. Connect with fellow participants, program faculty, and alumni over artisanal ice cream while enjoying the warm California sunshine. This welcoming event sets the tone for the friendships and mentorship that define the SASI experience.

Join us for an elegant afternoon where families gather to celebrate their students’ SASI journey. Set in Stanford Medical School’s historic Alway Courtyard, this cherished tradition offers parents a glimpse into their students’ transformative experience while enjoying a curated lunch among the natural beauty of our campus.
