(v) Cheating (vi) Insolentbehaviour to staff (vii) Casual use of indecent language (viii) Possession of any vulgar or pornographic material (ix) Deliberate absence from internal examinations (ix) Wearing of artificial hair/extensions (xi) Hair colouring (xii) Bleaching (hair or skin) (xiii) Not completing SBA on time (xiv) Using cell phones during unauthorized times (xv) Plagiarism (xvi) Consumption of harmful substance III. (a) Repeat Demerit in one year (2nd) result in Suspension 1-3 days (i) Parent notified (ii) Board of Management notified (iii) Student body notified (iv) Loss of 20 points to House (v) Loss of 20 points to Form (Best form competition) (b) Major Infractions – Immediate Suspension Involving and including: (i) Possession of illegal drugs, marijuana, tobacco and alcohol, or any other harmful substance or mixture (ii) Possession of harmful weapons e.g. knives, guns, icepicks, scissors, stencil knives. (iii) Bodily harm of any type and including – the pulling of chairs and stools from behind students. (iv) The throwing of stones or any other missiles. (v) Abusive use of indecent language/gestures.
