Gifts can come in many shapes and forms. For example, in the case of former Vice Principal, Dick Spann, his valuable bequest of his personal collection of books to the College, which are housed in the Spann Library and Reading Rooms, highlights the different ways in which one may give back to our community. We were very fortunate to be able to connect with our current 1867 Circle members in person this year (whilst closely following COVID-19 restrictions), and acknowledge them for the important role they play in assisting to secure the College’s future. Clifford Blake AO is one of our current 1867 Circle members who is leaving a bequest to the College to support two scholarships. You can read more about Clifford and the 1867 Circle on pages 12-15.
