Join Craig Austrie’s Basketball Camp at the Stamford Family YMCA August 15th - August 19th. Camp hours are 9 am - 12 pm. At Craig Austrie’s Basketball Camp players are taught the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed at their highest possible level.

Craig will instill in every camper the importance of discipline and hard work both on the court and in the classroom. Craig knows what it takes to go through the recruiting process and become a Division 1 athlete. The ultimate goal of Craig Austrie’s Basketball Camp is to give campers the confidence they need to succeed. This will be accomplished through hard work and dedication. Although basketball is the main attraction, participants will be encouraged to apply the same formula to their everday lives.

WHAT DOES CRAIG AUSTRIE’S BASKETBALL CAMP LOOK LIKE? Craig will evaluate the talent level of each child and has designed his camp program to target the need of each camper.

Basketball is a game with many different aspects. Throughout Craig’s camp, these aspects will be gone over thoroughly.

Aspects include: ball handling, lay ups, shooting, anticipation, reaction, defense, rebounding, passing, and big man skills. The first few work outs contains most of the fundamental skills to build a players foundation. Craig understands the importance of ball handling and it is stressed throughout camp. If your camper follows Craig’s program, puts effort, dedication, and hard work into his/her game, we guarantee there will be improvement!

REGISTRATION Registration for Craig Austrie’s Basketball Camp begins July 28th. You may register for camp at the Stamford Family YMCA front desk or on our website www.stamfordymca.org

CAMP DATES AND RATES A registration fee of $25 is due upon registration to all nonmembers. Registration fees and program fees are non-refundable.

It is understood that no credit will be given for camp closings, absences, family vacations, transportation delays or withdrawals.

All camp program fees are due upon registration.
