Your vote counts District voters go to the polls on Thursday 3 May 2012 to elect 18 district councillors. You can only vote if you are on the register of electors. You can register up to 18 April. You can also apply to vote by post, or to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. Electors will receive a poll card showing voting arrangements and their polling station. There are some new polling stations this year – full details are available at www.stalbans.gov.uk. Nominations for candidates close on Wednesday 4 April. There are no elections in Colney Heath and Sandridge wards this time round.
