About The Stables
Located in Wavendon, just 5 minutes from the centre of Milton Keynes and close to the M1, The Stables is a unique venue. Best known as a much-loved live music and arts charity, it also hosts a wide range of events and can offer a number of different rooms and spaces, all of which are available for hire.
Facilities & Accessibility
All areas are accessible for anyone with mobility impairments and our helpful event staff will assist you with car parking on arrival. There is free car parking for up to 250 cars.
Toilets, including facilities for disabled visitors, are available in the main foyer, Stage 2 and lower levels in the main auditorium.
Wi-Fi access is available in all areas.
Catering
Our caterers are able to offer menus to suit all budgets and specific needs. Whether you are looking for a traditional buffet, a more informal afternoon tea or even a BBQ, every event is individual and can be tailored to your preference. We cater for all dietary requirements from vegetarian to gluten free – just ask us for details.
A Range of Flexible Spaces
We offer a variety of flexible spaces which can accommodate groups from 20 up to 350 guests. Our rooms can be tailored to your specific needs, whether you prefer a formal setup or a more relaxed, informal arrangement. The versatility of our venue ensures that every aspect of the event is thoughtfully planned and executed.
The Jim Marshall Auditorium
Suitable for up to 350 guests seated theatre style. Fully staffed, private space with stage, projection if required, sound and lighting.
Stage 2
Suitable for up to 80 guests, mixture of cabaret and reception style. Fully staffed, private space with air-conditioning, bar, toilet facilities, sound and lights. Projector and screen options available.
Mancini Forum
The Mancini Forum is The Stables’ light and spacious foyer area and can accommodate up to 100 guests. There is a large bar area and snack bar.
Hospitality Room
This small intimate room can accommodate up to 20 guests, with a private bar.
