Postcards From Waterford - Year 8 Which food item can’t you live without? Jesse - Lamb because it's so juicy and nice in your mouth. Tait Lunnon-Johnson - Sweet chili and sour cream chips. They taste amazing and they are beautiful and crispy. Josef Paatsch - My Favorite food that I couldn't live without would have to be a Sunday roast, because it's always good to be able to sit down, with family and friends, to have a lovely home cooked meal. Oscar Hart - Ice cream. It is great because it tastes good. Beau Grossman - Paella because I like sea food. Cameron Elphinstone - Brisket, it is great because of the flavour explosion that happens when you consume it. James Donald Dewar - southern fried chicken as you can put different types of sauces on it and it will still taste good. Jordan Ty Rosewarne - Choc chip waffles because they're easy to heat up and they are delicious. William Clayton - I can't live with Avocados because they taste delicious and I put them in my sandwiches every day. Darcy Scott - gnocci bolognaise because it is like spaghetti with gnocci. Corey Leamer - Milo but has to be cold. James stow - tacos because they're as good as it gets. Ruairi William Brennan O'Shea - cereal because you can't start your day without it! Angus Dallow - Up & Go, I can't live without it because it gives me energy to go throughout the day. Cohen Emmerson - dimmies. Gianfranco Carpani - Fried Rice it is good because it has a lot of flavour. Bjorn Deliege - burgers because they are delicious.

Jack Flaherty - a succulent sausage. because they give me a reason to live. Digby Lawrence - Pizza! It's delicious with countless possibilities it makes me drool just thinking about it. Benjamin Groves - Pasta, very easy to cook up and very tasty with Sauce and Cheese for lunch. Lachlan Walker - Mango because it's my favorite fruit and its really nutritious. Tom Tagliabue - Bread because in Lockdown I make a lot of sandwiches. Christopher rose - spaghetti bolognaise because it's my favorite food. Jake peck - doughnuts with sugar. Joel Owens - I cant live without bread because you can make so many different things with it and it tastes very nice. Cohen Emmerson - dim sims they are good because they fill me up and taste good. Hugo Rieniets - I can't live without any type of food because I would starve without it. Johnathon Martini - Spaghetti, I like it because it's good. Jonathon Grigsby - Apples, because they are nutritious, tasty and juicy. Boris Katic - Avocado, I just love the taste of it and everything about it. Zephyr Spillard - Steak, it is the perfect source of protein and can be eaten raw or cooked. Jude Coverdale - Milk, it is used in lots of good foods and drinks.

If you could pick any end of year activity for Year 8, what would it be? Jesse - A big footy or cricket game. Tait Lunnon-Johnson - Going for a surf or a kick of the footy with some mates. Josef Paatsch - I think some sort Year 8 sports day or big event would be amazing. (If COVID Restrictions are dropped) because it's been a tough year and if we could all get together and celebrate the year together that would be great and very memorable. Oscar Hart - Edmund Rice day. Beau Grossman - Footy Cameron Elphinstone - I would choose surfing, because it marks the start of summer. James Dewar - paintball or Adventure park or a camp Jordan Ty Rosewarne - An end of the year party with pizza and games and you can chill for the whole day. William Clayton - A pizza lunch. Darcy Scott - I would pick to spend time with my primary school friends that I haven't seen in a couple of years. Corey Leamer - students are teachers are students. James stow - massive slip and slide. Ruairi O'Shea - It would be a party/meeting online or at school were everyone can catch up. Max Waight - Go to the beach for a whole day. Angus Dallow - If I could pick any end of year activity it would be all periods of free time on our phones or other devices. Gianfranco Carpani - Go to a camp Bjorn Deliege - do a footy match. Jack McTaggart - Go camping down the coast for example Wye River so we can swim at the beach and just chill out.

Matthew Hannan - Getting the last week of school off. Jack Flaherty - food eating contest. Digby Lawrence - Going to a water park or the beach. Benjamin Groves - A Day to reflect on the strange year we've had, being able to talk with friends and teachers that we've missed out on seeing and just being able to generally relax Tom Tagliabue - Go to an St kilda AFL game. Christopher Rose - A free time day when its up to you. Jake Peck - A big bike ride Joel Owens - It would be an end of year sport competition like Basketball, Soccer, Football etc. Cohen Emmerson - I would like to go on another camp in the bush some where because they are very fun. Hugo Rieniets - gaming excursion. Johnathon Martini - Go to the movies. Jonathon Grigsby - A water fight on Carey Oval. Boris Katic - I would go to Supa Tramp (now known as Supa World) because I love Trampolines and rock climbing. Oskar Hayes - I would choose the year level to go to the You Yangs as there is something for everyone. Mountain biking, hiking, off-roading, rock climbing and a lot more. It would be a great experience to get out and about since 2020 has limited our activities for a while and I find our time out in nature has also been limited by COVID-19. This would be a lot of fun and engage participants in activities they wouldn't normally do. Zephyr Spillard - Going to a rock climbing area. Jude Coverdale - Casual Clothes day.
