On Saturday 26 June 2021, Agriculture teacher Ms Emily James and RAAF Officer Flight Lieutenant Jason Hickson celebrated their wedding at the historic Fitzroy Inn in Mittagong NSW. Braving the chilly highlands weather, 65 guests including the College’s Agriculture faculty attended in style for the intimate afternoon ceremony and evening reception. The timing was impeccable, with Greater Sydney moving into lockdown that weekend, it was an opportune moment to spend with cherished friends and family.
We wish them all the best for their life together.

Natasha Patao
Congratulations to Natasha, Adam and Ellie Patao on the birth of Stephanie, their daughter and sister, and our newest member of the St Gregory’s College ‘family’. Baby Stephanie was born healthy and happy on Wednesday 13 October at 11.01am weighing 3.45kg and measuring 49cm long. Mum, Dad, Ellie and new bub are doing well and are happy to be home as a family! Natasha has let us know that Ellie is absolutely smitten with her baby sister and is a wonderful helper! May God bless the Patao family.

Congratulations to the Witheridge Family on the recent birth of their son, Austin. Baby Austin Eli Witheridge was born on 14 September. May God bless Rachel and her family.
Matthew Coffey
Congratulations to Matt and Kristy Coffey on the recent birth of Billy, our newest member of the St Gregory’s College ‘family’. Baby Billy Michael Coffey was born healthy and happy on Wednesday 11 August 2021 at 5.48pm weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and measuring 48.5cm long. Mum, Dad and new bub are doing well! May God bless Kristy, Matt, Billy and their families.

Congratulations to Jana and Chris Stevens on the birth of their son, Jake. Baby Jake William Stevens was born healthy and happy on Friday 30 July 2021 at 8:56am weighing 6 lbs 8 oz and measuring 50.5cm long. May God bless Jana, Chris and their family.
College FOUNDATION
Message from the Chairman of the College Foundation
The College Foundation was formed in 1983 with the purpose of establishing a fund to assist the College in the development and improvement of facilities to enable the best possible physical and educational environment for the education of all students.
While the restrictions imposed as a result of the COVID Pandemic have created great difficulties for the students and staff at the College, the Foundation has continued to deliver on its mission to provide funding to enable our students to enjoy the best facilities possible and to provide the opportunities for some students whose parents could not afford to send their children to St Gregory’s College. In a very difficult year contributions by parents to the Foundation Building Fund have continued and the Foundation is most grateful for the ongoing support in what must be a very trying financial time.
Again, this year, many of the usual activities conducted by the Foundation have had to be cancelled. For the second year running, our major fundraising event, the Annual Celebrity Sports Dinner, could not proceed, however, the organising committee decided to proceed with an online raffle and silent auction. The raffle commenced on Tuesday 5 October 2021 with prizes of $10,000.00 for 1st, $5,000.00 for 2nd and $2,500.00 for 3rd. The silent auction was launched on 1 November 2021 with some great items on offer. The raffle and the silent auction were both promoted via social media and community networks and there was a terrific response from the College community. The raffle and silent auction concluded on 12 November 2021 with the lucky raffle winners and successful purchasers at the auction being advised by phone and email.
