St. Xavier High School is offering a variety of summer camps where prospective students will be able to meet new friends, explore the St. Xavier campus, and experience the core tenets of a Jesuit education. Boys and Girls rising into 6th, 7th or 8th grades may take this course. Campers will learn to create a storyboard, manage a production schedule, and work with video in Adobe Premiere. They will end the week with their very own video production and movie screening. Cost: $100
Looking for the perfect way to improve your guitar skills this summer? Look no further! Guided by the excellent St. Xavier music department, campers will practice technique and improve their guitar skills along with their peers. In addition to this, campers will participate in group activities and wicked jam sessions! Boys and Girls rising into 7th, 8th or 9th grades may take this course. Cost: $200
Approach gameplay from a new angle by discovering the underlying mechanics of the game in a collaborative environment! Learn how to build automatic farms and other strategies for advanced gameplay. You must own a license for Minecraft Java Edition and come with your login information (username and password) to participate in this camp. Girls and Boys in grades 7, 8 and 9 may take this course (High School boys must attend St. Xavier). This camp will take place: 6/19/23 - 6/30/23. Cost: $200
St. Xavier’s Maker Camp is perfect for boys and girls in 7th – 12th grade with an eye toward creation, innovation, design, and technology. Campers will be taught to safely use a variety of equipment including 3D printers, power tools, and a large bed CNC router. Hands-on and collaborative, the Maker Space Camp is a great opportunity to make friends and learn new skills. Cost: $350
Have fun while learning skills that will allow you to be creative on demand! Improve your ability to: act, speak publicly, think creatively, understand and interpret text, and succeed in future classes! Class covers improvisation, movement, acting scene work, and will culminate with a showcase of student performances. Teachers are Mr. Nathan Gabriel and Ms. Elizabeth Harris, both of whom work as professional directors and teach acting at St. Xavier and at the college level. See dates and times below. St. Xavier is offering the first-ever Summer Enrichment Program! Through a mix of academic, cultural, social, and athletic activities, the SEP provides an excellent opportunity for students to become acquainted with life at St. X. Students will make a film, break out of an escape room, and build and race a soap box derby car. Register your son today for a fun-filled summer of meeting future classmates and having fun! Breakfast and lunch are included with the program. Breakfast will be served before classes begin (at 7:30), and lunch at 11:00. After lunch there will be a fast-paced hour of team-based activities where students will compete for prizes. This program is offered to rising 8th-grade boys only.

The Companion Scholars Program is a three-week, academically rigorous program for high achieving African American, Hispanic, multicultural, or any modest-income young man currently in the fifth or sixth grade. Throughout the CSP, students will partake in academic, elective, and physical education classes designed to help students succeed in the college preparatory curriculum at St. Xavier High School. The program also involves two field trips and concludes with a family cookout, field day, and awards ceremony.
