ARTIST’S RECEPTION TODAY AFTER SERVICES • ART GALLERY Deb Potts took early retirement in 2007 from a career in diagnostic medical imaging and turned her attention to photographing the wonders of the High Arctic and Antarctic, Russia, Mongolia, the Galapagos, the Amazon, Ireland, Scotland, and more than 20 African countries. You can meet her today from 10:30AM- 12:30PM in the East Gallery. Her photos will be on exhibit the entire month of May.

LUKE’S - MIDTOWN We envision St. Luke’s as an explosive force of God’s radical, just and inclusive love, reaching hundreds of thousands of people in Indianapolis and beyond who have given up on church or the possibility of a God who cares about them. The launch of our newest campus, St. Luke’s - Midtown - in November 2022, is one way to accomplish this vision, and we’re looking for 100 people to join the launch team. DIAPER DRIVE NOW-MAY 15 Our goal is to collect 100,000 diapers between now and May 15! SPRING RETREAT - SPIRITUAL PRACTICES IN COMMUNITY SATURDAY, MAY 14 • 8:30AM • COMMUNITY ROOM Come join us for a morning of prayer, peace, and restoration as we explore ancient and contemporary spiritual practices in this small group, community setting. This retreat is designed to be conversational and practical with the goal of sending you out with down-to-earth wisdom for your spiritual walk and practice moving forward. A light continental breakfast and drinks will be provided. Our conversation and practice will be based on the book Spiritual Practices in Community by Diana Shiflett. It is strongly recommended that you purchase the book prior to the retreat and bring it with you on Saturday morning. It is not required, but you will find it very helpful.

UNIGOV: INTENDED AND UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES SUNDAY, MAY 15 • 4-5:30PM • ROBERTSON CHAPEL & ONLINE Over 50 years ago the people in power in Indianapolis and in the Indiana State Legislature made a dramatic change in how Indianapolis would grow and be governed. Former Lt. Governor John Mutz and former State Representative Ned Lamkin will join Attorney Fay Williams, former educator and State Senator Billie Breaux, and current City/County Council President Vop Osili to discuss these changes. We’ll explore Mayor Richard Lugar’s original idea for Unigov and what has happened since then. HYBRID CHOIR EVENT SUNDAY, MAY 22 Are you an online worshipper who likes to sing? We think it’s possible for kids, volunteers, and families to create a ripple effect that can impact the world around them in ways they will never forget. God put you onto this planet to do the same thing—to make waves! Join us for a week-long adventure and discover the ways God created you to change the world! MIDDLE SCHOOL MAYHEM JUNE 27-JULY 1 Students who will be in 5th-8th grade for the 2022-23 school year are invited to our FAVORITE event of the year - Middle School Mayhem! This week-long day camp gives middle schoolers a chance to form new friendships as they have discussions and competitions with their “crew” of other students and a few leaders, serve alongside their peers, learn more about faith in worship designed specifically for them, and (of course) play all kinds of insane games. This year’s theme is Mt. Mayhem! We will explore Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the “Be-Attitudes” Jesus taught us. To learn more and register, go to stlukesumc.com/students.

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM REGISTRATION NOW OPEN St. Luke’s Early Childhood Program (ECP) is a weekday, play-based program that creates opportunities through play, promoting the development of language, imagination, self-expression, problem-solving, and emotional growth. We are in session from 9AM-1PM Monday through Friday, September through May. Classes fill up quickly.
