CHARGE CONFERENCE TODAY, DECEMBER 5 • NOON The Charge Conference takes place annually to approve nominees for leadership roles, establish salaries for pastors, and review accomplishments in ministry for the past year. Open to the congregation. Lunch will be served beginning at 12PM in Fellowship Hall. The program begins at 12:45PM in Robertson Chapel.

Join us to celebrate this incredible community of volunteers and families. There will be Christmas activities set up for adults, youth, and children of all ability levels to enjoy. JOYSWING JAZZ CHRISTMAS CLASSICS CONCERT WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15 AT 7PM • ROBERTSON CHAPEL & ONLINE Come celebrate the season at the JoySwing Christmas Classics Concert, a jazzy musical tribute to Jesus. The JoySwing Jazz Orchestra will provide a lively setting for praising the coming of the savior. The concert is offered free of charge but a free-will offering in support of St. Luke’s charitable partners will be taken. YOUTH CHRISTMAS OVERNIGHTER SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17 • 7:30PM This year we are going all out with a combined youth overnighter! This awesome event will be a fantastic time for 5th-12th grade students to celebrate the end of finals and the beginning of winter break. There will be worship, teaching, a midnight trampoline park session, wild games, and all sorts of fun ways for students to connect with one another. LONGEST NIGHT SERVICE TUESDAY, DECEMBER 21 AT 7PM • ROBERTSON CHAPEL & ONLINE Navigating the Christmas season during grief can be hard. Join us for a service of hope on the day each year that we have the least hours of sunlight, the longest night.

This service symbolizes a move out of the darkness and is for anyone who has had a loss of any kind at any time in their life. Grief is a journey that no one can put an end date on. This year, we find hope through the music of Christmas and rejoice in Christ. Services are offered online and in-person. Due to Covid, we are limiting capacity at all in-person services. SPONSOR A POINSETTIA THROUGH DECEMBER 23 Worshippers have the opportunity to sponsor a poinsettia in memory or honor of a loved one, which will be on display in our worship spaces throughout December. The list of dedications will be published to the website. We request a donation of $10 to cover the cost of each sponsored poinsettia. Sponsorships will go through December 23. NEW YEAR’S EVE LABYRINTH WALK FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31 • 5PM • FELLOWSHIP HALL Usher in the New Year with a time of remembering 2021 and looking forward to 2022.

Perhaps choose a word for 2022 and contemplate how that word will be evidenced in your life as you walk. If you have never walked a labyrinth, someone will be present to introduce you to the practice. Vaccination required.

CHRISTMAS SERVING OPPORTUNITIES Throughout December ANGEL TREE When you read the Christmas story do you ever wonder if angels are real? Every year we come together to be angels for others by sponsoring and supporting hundreds of children and their families with Christmas gifts and household items. So what are you waiting for? SUPPORT AFGHAN REFUGEES A core belief of our faith is to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” As thousands of refugees from Afghanistan became our new neighbors in the fall of 2021- we recognized an opportunity to put our faith in action. We invite you to join us in partnering with Exodus Refugee as we sponsor Afghan families who fled to the United State - many with just the clothing on their backs. The funding we raise will help to provide housing, transportation, furniture, food, and other basic needs as Afghan refugees make Indiana home.
