THANKSGIVING SERVING

Thanksgiving is a time to share God’s abundance with others. Join St. Luke’s on Thursday, November 25 as we deliver meals to those in need this Thanksgiving season. Volunteers are needed to carve turkeys, prepare sides, pack meals, deliver them to homes or serve them at Cathedral Kitchen. Sign up at stlukesumc.com/ events.

CHRISTMAS CONCERTS Joyous Song Unending

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3 AT 7:30PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4 AT 4PM & 7:30PM St. Luke’s Christmas Concerts are a favorite tradition for thousands of St. Lukers and their friends. The concerts feature our 140+ member Chancel choir, the St. Luke’s Orchestra, New Song women’s chorus, Contemporary Worship Singers, Wesleyan Ringers handbell choir, Children’s choirs, pipe organ, and special guests, Carmel High School choirs. Come enjoy a moving Christmas Concert that is fun for all ages! This is a free event, but registration is required due to capacity limitations. The concerts are offered in-person and online. GRATITUDE BRUNCH SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 • 10AM As a way to say thank you for your generosity, we’re hosting a gratitude lunch for those who have submitted a pledge for 2022. Chef Joseph will be cooking up all your favorites including egg casserole, meat and cheese, and veggie, sliced ham with cherry sauce, hash brown potato casserole, fresh fruit, coffee cake, and waffles. We hope this will be a joyous occasion as we head into Thanksgiving. Registration is not required.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 • 11AM – 5PM Join us in decorating our worship spaces and gathering areas for the Christmas season. We need lots of people to help with preparing our church to celebrate Christmas. Spend the afternoon or a couple of hours working alongside our experienced crew, and watch our spaces transform into a Christmas wonderland. We will begin after worship on Sunday, November 21, and will wrap up by 5PM (but we welcome you for any amount of time you can offer). This is a great event for families too! HIGH SCHOOL INVITE NIGHT: TED TALKS & CAMPFIRES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 • 4PM Have you ever watched a TED talk and thought, “I could do that”? Well, we have the perfect event for you. Prepare any hilarious or fun topic to share with your friends at this night for presentations and laughter. Don’t like public speaking? We need crowd members! And make sure to stay for a campfire with s’mores. The cost is only $5, but guests are FREE! If you are a guest, just leave the payment section in the registration blank. ELDERBERRIES (55+) CHRISTMAS PARTY THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2 • 11:30AM Join us for a fun-filled Christmas party! We’ll gather for a fun meal (menu is TBD) all made by Chef Joesph. CHARGE CONFERENCE SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5 • NOON The Charge Conference takes place annually to approve nominees for leadership roles, establish salaries for pastors, and review accomplishments in ministry for the past year. Open to the congregation. Lunch will be served beginning at 12PM in Fellowship Hall. The program begins at 12:45PM in Robertson Chapel. SPECIAL NEEDS CHRISTMAS LUNCH SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 • 12PM Special Needs Ministry will be hosting a pizza luncheon along with cookie decorating and Christmas activities! Join us to celebrate this incredible community of volunteers and families. There will be Christmas activities set up for adults, youth, and children of all ability levels to enjoy. Gluten-free and dairy-free options will be available. Please note dietary restrictions when prompted in registration so we can accommodate you!
