NORTH INDY ART GALLERY

GATHERING AREA EAST BALCONY- JOHN ZELENAK

Most of my paintings evolve from everyday experiences. An older couple lovingly holding onto one another, an old photo of my son, or a current photo of one of my granddaughters. What might seem insignificant at that moment can spark a feeling or an emotion that will take me back in time.

MAKE AN IMPACT

STREETS TO HOME INDY

INDIANAPOLIS’ PLAN TO END HOMELESSNESS

St Luke’s is joining with the city of Indianapolis and other faith, corporate, and philanthropic partners to end homelessness. The end goal will be to provide permanent housing and support services for 350 of our most vulnerable neighbors by June 2026. You can learn more about Streets to Home Indy and the ways you can be a part of this impact in services on the 10th (Midtown) and 17th (North Indy), or by attending the screening of Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness on Thursday, August 14th at 6 PM. Leader: Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare:

All: We believe in the one God, maker and ruler of all things, the source of all goodness and beauty, all truth and love. We believe in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, our teacher, example, and Redeemer, the Savior of the world. We believe in the Holy Spirit, God present with us for guidance, for comfort, and for strength. We believe in the forgiveness of sins, in the life of love and prayer, and in grace equal to every need. We believe in the Word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments as the sufficient rule both of faith and of practice. We believe in the Church as the fellowship, for worship and for service, of all who are united to the living Lord. We believe in the kingdom of God as the divine rule in human society, in the final triumph of righteousness, and in the life everlasting. Amen.
