Annual Homecoming Weekend Homecoming Weekend brings alumni together from a variety of ages to celebrate old memories of St. Francis Prep, and to make new ones! See the back cover for the 2014 Homecoming Weekend schedule of events. Hoops Tournament in Memory of Jimmy ‘79 & James Prendergast H’11 The “weekend” begins on Thursday evening with a Threeon-Three Basketball Tournament. Last year over one hundred alumni, members of the Prendergast family as well as friends from the neighborhood participated on October 3rd. As always, there will be food, drink and plenty of raffle prizes awarded. Photos from this past year are shown below. This year the event will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the Prep’s Gym.

Homecoming Golf Outing & BBQ in Memory of Danny Apicella ‘00 The 4th Annual Golf Outing in memory of Danny Apicella ‘00 will be held at Clearview Golf Course on Friday, October 3, 2014. The “after party” will continue at Sullivan’s in Bayside with drink specials and plenty of raffle prizes in a “standing room only” crowd. All told, nearly $30,000 has been raised in support of the Scholarship Fund established in Danny’s memory.
