JUNIOR & FAMILY COURSES 2026

FOR STUDENTS AGED 5-17

STUDY IN SAFETY WITH ST GILES

SAFEGUARDING AT OUR JUNIOR SUMMER CENTRES

Our schools have a family feel and from day one, we make sure that all students are making friends and becoming part of the St Giles Juniors team!

Our caring staff live on site with our students so as to ensure that everyone is safe, well and happy.

Children and parents are given 24 hour phone number so they can receive immediate assistance when required.

Students are supervised 24/7, with free time offered to students (13+) who have parental consent. This is at set times, in groups of 3.

We have strict safeguarding measures in place to keep all students safe and well.

We have regular roll calls throughout the day to ensure all students are present and safe.

YOUR LESSONS

20 lessons per week of General English designed to focus on building communication skills and confidence in using English inside and outside the classroom.

YOUR TEACHERS:

St Giles teachers use a communicative approach to engage students and help them learn effectively

We employ a range of English language teachers who are committed to providing enjoyable and beneficial language lessons

We will ensure that all our students leave our course feeling more confident, able to speak to an audience and with a wider range of vocabulary and functional language

WORKBOOKS:

During their stay, students create a workbook that stands as a portfolio of their work to show their family and friends. It includes accomplishments of the week, their targets reached, work based on their excursions and records of language learned.

THEME OF THE WEEK:

Every week our lessons and activities programme are based around a theme, such as Food, Global Culture, Science and the Environment

Students learn useful language and skills, which they can then use in their end of week project, with their fellow students from a whole range of countries

Students present their projects at the end of each week, which can be in the form of a film, a presentation, a drawing, a song and much more

GRADUATION:

At the end of their course, students enjoy a ceremony to celebrate completion of their programmes. They receive a certificate showing their level of English, length of stay and a full report provided by their teachers.
