Welcome!
We are so excited to have you be a part of the 21st Annual CubeSat Developer’s Workshop. Taking place in sunny San Luis Obispo, California (and beyond) this 3-day conference will finally gather the CubeSat Community under one roof to share knowledge, make connections, and inspire collaboration.
With so many individuals from varying disciplines and a vast range of corporations, the community continues to diversify and expand. This collaboration is what pushes innovation forward, and this year we are looking to celebrate just that.
Bringing together individuals from academia and industry, we will look at all that the CubeSat Community has created. We will also look to the future and see how we can continue to work together to expand our community and push the boundaries of space exploration.

To submit the following items, please email us at cubesat-workshop@calpoly.edu with the appropriate subject lines.
Company Logo
Your company logo will be displayed on our CDW website, merchandise, and throughout Workshop. To do this, we will need you to send us the most updated version of your company’s logo. The logo intended for the CDW website should be submitted at your earliest convenience as this logo will be posted to the website upon receipt. The logo on our Workshop T-Shirt needs to be sent in correct format by Friday, March 8th in order to meet the printing deadline. Here are a few specifications the logo must meet to be printed on the shirt:
• The logo MUST be white and have a transparent background
• The logo MUST be sent in either .eps or .ai format
For your reference, your company logo may appear on the CDW website, Workshop T-Shirt, annual report, and any promotional content highlighted in the “What’s Included in Your Sponsorship” page.
When emailing the company logo to us, please title the subject line: “Your Company Name: Logo”.
Session Video Advertisement
At the beginning of a technical session, video advertisements from Gold Level Sponsors will be shown to the registrants. This is not mandatory but is a great way to advertise your company and its mission.
Video advertisements must not exceed over 2 minutes and must be in horizontal alignment. We will need this by Sunday, March 31st.
Session Video Advertisements will be collected through DropBox as emails do not allow for large file sizes. Before March 31st, please upload your session video advertisement to https://www.dropbox.com/request/dyEEkwHaJI97EcFrk. This is the ONLY item that will be collected through Dropbox.
Social Media Highlight Content
If you are a Gold Level Sponsor, you have the option to promote highlights of your company on the CDW social media pages. To successfully promote on our social media pages, please provide us with your company’s social media links and any hashtags you would like to include, as well as the content by Sunday, March 31st.
Keep in mind that a single social media post can contain up to 280 characters with a maximum of 4 photos.
Some suggestions for social media highlights would be any informational content about the company, highlights of the past year(s), promotion of virtual exhibit booths and side meeting at 2024 CDW, etc.
When emailing us the social media highlight content, please title the subject line as “Your Company Name: Social Media Content”.
Promotional Email to Registrant Content
As we did last year, we will again be providing registrants with a promotional email from the Gold Level Sponsors. With a large number of registrants at Workshop each year, it is impossible to connect with everyone. Therefore, promotional emails are a great way to get information about your company out to all those in attendance. The promotional email can be sent to registrants in two ways: we can send the email content you provide through the official CDW email channel, or we can provide the mailing list of registrants for you to send out.
There will be a specific format for all Gold Level Sponsors in order to give equal representation to all companies. In order to participate, please send
a 300 word text that highlights your company as well as any information about presentations and side meetings held during Workshop. We will need this by Sunday, March 31.
When emailing the promotional email content to us, please title the subject line as “Your Company Name: Promotional Email Content”.
Exhibitor Setups
If you would like to ship us anything for your exhibit, please send it to the address found with the shipping information on page 14 with a delivery date no later than April 19th, 2024. Please email any tracking information to cubesat-workshop@ calpoly.edu to ensure that your shipment arrives at the proper location in a timely manner.
* Please note that we will be providing electricity to each exhibitor booth. You will have access to an outlet, but if you find that you are in need of multiple outlets, we recommend bringing a surge protector or extension cord as needed.
If you are bringing your own equipment, please follow the parking map on page 13 and the instructions outlined below:
1. Drop off your equipment at the roundabout at the Performing Arts Center.
• Do not park at the roundabout as it will block traffic of the Amtrak bus that makes its loop there.
2. Once you drop off your equipment you can park on the top level of the parking structure. This level has reserved parking spots for this event.
3. After you park your car you can return to the exhibitor set-up area.

Informational Slide
There are monitors throughout the Performing Arts Center that will be playing a loop of slides with information on the Workshop throughout the conference. As a Gold Sponsor you have the opportunity to send us a slide about your company that will be added to the rotation of slides. This slide could be something as simple as your logo, or something more elaborate like a new product announcement. Please send your slide as a PowerPoint file. We will need this by Sunday, March 31.
Promotional Video
If you are a Gold Sponsorship package you have the option to send us a 2 minute promotional video that will be played at the beginning of a session. This is not mandatory, but is a great way to advertise your company and its mission. We will need this by Sunday, March 31.

Shipping Options
To ensure that your packages arrive to us, we highly encourage you to ship your parcels through any standard courier (i.e FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL).
If you find that your parcel is too large to go through one of these couriers (for example, if you are sending hardware that needs to be transported via semi-truck) please contact cubesat-workshop@calpoly.edu to coordinate deliveries and returns.

Return Shipping
On April 25th, at the completion of the conference, you can pack up your exhibit, place a shipping label on any packages you have, and leave the packages at your exhibit space. We will collect all packages at the end of the day and, if you went through a standard courier, we will make sure your packages are picked up from your respective courier. If you chose a different method of shipment, please confirm the mode of return shipping with cubesat-workshop@calpoly.edu.
