SUMMARY
As my first multi-family residential project ever, I took on the role as the sole unit designer for (2) buildings, at (550) units total. By the end of design development each building had roughly 40 unit types per the client needs.
Before we reached the second deadline, my project architect quit, leaving myself and the project manager to see the project through.
The following documents show (1 of 2) buildings, CMB, or Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at 100% schematic design phase.

LEVEL 1 - UNIT LAYOUTS
VARIED FROM LEVEL 1 to LEVEL 2 DUE TO AMENITY SPACES.
LEVEL 2 & 3 - UNIT LAYOUTS VARIED FROM LEVEL 4 & UP. LEVEL 2 & 3 - OUTER UNITS DID NOT HAVE BALCONIES.
LEVEL 4 - 6 - OUTER UNITS HAD BALCONIES.
CONFIGURING CORNER UNITS WITH BALCONIES AND CONSIDERING THE SF WAS A CHALLENGE.
LEVEL 7- 8 HAD BALCONIES & MEZZANINES. THEY WERE NOT RESOLVED BY TIME THE SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE COMMENDED.
SUMMARY
I was brought on this project after 100% schematic design. My instructions were to read the 1300 pages of Marriott Standards that were published after the SD set, redline the SD set, then create a log where our plans deviated.
I read each page of the standards, then I went floor by floor, condo by condo, and marked up where changes were needed.
I created PDF’s with annotations. Each standard had a pdf of plans attached, with notes on how our plans deviated. The building is roughly 1 million square feet, with 12 levels of condos that did not entirely stack.
Because of the NDA I can only show the log that I created. I organized the pdf’s by area. I am only showing three of the twelve areas.

SUMMARY
I started on this project with one responsibility; to maintain the finish legend.
Eventually it would grow into drafting the cd’s for the IFC set, the two ASI sets, and I was involved with construction administration.
I am showing a sample of the finish legend before it was completed, and I am showing a few of the verified physical samples for the contractor to order prior to installation.

OUR FINISH LEGEND CONTINUED TO CHANGE WELL INTO THE ASI SETS.
LABELS AS TO INDICATE THIS IS THE EXACT FINISH TO BE ORDERED, AND NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE TAKEN.
SUMMARY
I helped a local developer design the house he was flipping..
The house sold for 60k over asking price in 24 hours.
Everything we did was out of an RV or on the job site. No drawings, just sketches and verbal communication with the contractor.

Initially the client wanted cosmetic updates to their kitchen.
It turned out to be a full blown remodel. The following documentation is showing various 3d models of the proposed plans, as well as some progress photos.
