Focus on Fitness: Meet Bill Rosenberg

Meet Mr. Bill Rosenberg! I have had the privilege of working with Mr. Rosenberg on hypertrophy programming over the past few months, and I’m so pleased to share his progress with you! When asked about his experience training with me, here’s what he had to say:

“I’ve been actively involved with resistance training for decades primarily utilizing online programs developed by exercise scientists. This method yielded moderate to good results. However, my results had plateaued for the last couple of years

This prompted me to try an alternative approach I, therefore, reached out to Emilie to develop a hypertrophy/strength program. I emphasized to Emilie that my primary concern was optimization of the program by not getting injured because the compound effect of injury at my age (69) is magnified.

We started by determining my one rep max lifts of various movements. This was the baseline for Emilie to develop the programs. This element was the unique and critical variable when compared to other programs I used in the past. All programs she developed were based on these one rep max lifts combined with her sensitivity to my injury concern.

The outstanding results were evident by the second week of the program. Over the course of the two phases of the program, I have put on 5 pounds of muscle. I never achieved results at this level with any other program.
