Clubhouse Buzz: Food & Beverage Updates

Chris Moore, Clubhouse Manager

The Club has started off the year with some amazing events that have been a lot of fun. We’ve had Dueling Pianos, a wine dinner, our Valentine’s dinner, just to name a few.

I’m pleased to let you know that I’ve been working with the bartenders to create a unique cocktail menu for you. The cocktail menu is compiled of many classic cocktails, some that I brought from a bar where I worked in Uptown Dallas, as well as some of my very own creations. We are also making a separate cocktail menu that will change with the seasons. Offering warming drinks during the fall and winter months, transitioning to crisp and refreshing cocktails in the spring and summer months.

We would love to have you out to try one of our new cocktails and answer any questions you may have so we can help you find your next favorite cocktail. I would like to strive to have the best cocktail bar in Hopkins County, turning SSCC into your destination for cocktail hour any night of the week.

I’ve also worked, with member input, on a new wine list, bringing favorite brands to our offerings to the Club. I’m always open to suggestions about what you would like to see at the Club. We’ve added brands such as Caymus 50 Cabernet, Jordan Cabernet, Meiomi Pinot Noir, Louis Jabot Chablis, Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Cakebread Chardonnay, just to name a few.

So come out to your Club to enjoy one of our new cocktails or a glass of wine. We have beverage menus printed in the Chophouse and in the Bar & Grill. I look forward to seeing you here trying one of our new drinks.
