Meet the New General Manager

Meet Mark Badertscher, CCM

Written in collaboration with Mark by: Alex Melton, Media & Marketing

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor and privilege to introduce you to our new General Manager of Sulphur Springs Country Club, Mark Badertscher, CCM! (pronounced BAD-ER-SHUR)

As I’m sure you are all aware, this Club has been through a myriad of changes over the last several months, but one of the biggest changes has been the search for a new General Manager to lead our team in providing you with the best Member experience possible.

Our management team has remained as committed as ever to enhancing your experiences around the Club, and we were all so excited about the opportunity to take part in the search for a leader with a vision we could all get behind.

The search, done by Ethos Club and Leisure, was both expansive and thorough, and our team was given the opportunity to provide some input on who we thought would bring some new energy. We were hoping for someone who would be vision-centered and personable, with a lifetime of experience and a hands-on, transformational approach to leadership.

After narrowing down the field to two highly-qualified candidates, the management team had the opportunity to meet Mr. Badertscher in person and, it’s safe to say, he blew us all away.
